1994, Tanzania. Fantastic lot of in all 9 artworks for the complete set SAILING SHIPS (inclusive souvenir sheet and one artwork for an entire card). There are 7 artworks for the set's stamps: each of them acrylic on paper on card with inscription overlay and passepartout framing (and a stamp-sized essay foto in the lower-right corner of the frame). Each artwork is netto sized 120x168 mm and signed on the card's reverse. The shown types of ships are: Jehazi, Caravel, Carrack, Galeas, Battle ship, Frigate and Brig. The artwork for the s/s shows a Bark and is a round picture with an external diameter of 165 mm made of acrylic on paper on card with inscription overlay. An s/s-sized essay foto and the signature are located on the card's reverse. And finally there is an additional acrylic artwork for a postcard showing an about 125x115 mm sized picture of three ships sailing on the open sea framed by a rope with an anchor. UNIQUE GROUP!
