1936 - 1939 CIVIL WAR LOCAL STAMPS COLLECTION. A beautiful collection written-up on album pages in a single binder of chiefly mint (much never hinged) and some used stamps of both the overprinted Spanish stamps and local designs arranged from Algarinejo, Algarrobo, Alhama, Almachar, Almunecar, Alora, Antequera, Archidona, Asturias, Ardales, Aroche, Avila, Ayamonte through to Zafarraya, Zalamea la Real, Zamora & Zaragoza. Many excellent ranges and scarcer items including complete sets and miniature sheets. The overprinted Spanish issues include Malaga with many errors and varieties incl se-tenant portrait opts on 60c strip 3 etc, Pontevedra 1936 opt's on Republican stamps range to 4p & 10p values, San Sebastian 1937 opt's on Nationalist stamps (15 & 6 stamps respectively) but the collection contains so much more interesting and attractive items including errors and varieties.
