1930's TO 1960's AMAZING CANCELLATIONS COLLECTION. The best collection of its type copiously written-up in 55 multi-ring binders. A collection of stamps selected for clear readable cancellations with illustrations of the postmarks alongside. Arranged by town and village in alphabetical order from Aba, Aba Town, Abagana, Abah, Abak, Abakaliki, Abakpa, Abala, Abalabi, Abam, Abaomega, Abaragba (postal agency), Abatete & Abavo through to Zaki Biam, Zakirai, Zana, Zarama Epie Pa, Zaria, Zonkwa, Zungeru & Zuru; the postmarks are all on the stamps of KGVI and QEII from 1937 to the earlier 1960's (probably more KGVI than QEII). Individually hand drawn illustrations of the cancellation type with the matching stamps (which include many strips & blocks which we count as single items) added beneath, with almost every office well represented with many examples on different stamps including many with earliest and latest known dates, and unrecorded / only known examples. This truly magnificent collection is the work of a lifetime. Highly recommended, approximately 35,000 stamps with selected postmarks!
