1872-75 SPHINX & PYRAMID - PENASSON PRINTING. 1pi RED (SG 27 & 31) splendid specialized used study collection written up on leaves with many shades, varieties, plate flaws, perforation types, postmark interest inc early use (inc 1 Jan 1872 FIRST DAY of issue cds, 5 Jan 1872 & 9 Jan 1872), watermark varieties, typographed & lithographed issues etc. All arranged by the four Die types. Includes one double perf used, nine wmk's inverted, one imperf used, 40+ litho stamps (about half perf 13½) etc. Mostly good to fine condition, fresh colours, a great lot for the specialist.
