1870-1926 MINT & USED COLLECTION The Portuguese Colonies sections carefully extracted from a wonderful, original, old-time, multi-volume collection, we see Cape Verde Islands 1877 to 100r, 1881 & 1886 sets, 1913 New Currency surcharges on Vasco da Gama, all three mint sets, Funchal good range, note 1897 to 500r, Horta note 1892 150r used & 200r unused, Inhambane with 1913 surcharges on "Africa" set mint, Lourenco Marques 1898-1901 most values to 700r used, 1914-18 Ceres set mint, Macau highly catalogued range with 1884 to 300r mostly unused, 1885 new colours set unused, 1888 to 40r unused plus 100r used, 1898-1901 31a & 78a unused and much more, Madeira, Mozambique, Mozambique Company, Nyassa Company incl. 1898 almost complete used set, plus good range of later mint sets, Ponta Delgada, Portuguese Congo with 1894 most values to 300r mint, 1913 all three New Currency surch. sets mint, Portuguese Guinea with a page of mint blocks of 4 (see scans), useful quantity of Portuguese India incl. surcharges on divided stamps, Quelimane, good range of St. Thomas & Prince Islands, Tete, Timor and Zambezia.
