1861 - 1886 BALANCE OF A DISPLAY COLLECTION Superb mint and used collection with many very fin a and unusual items, proofs, multiples etc. Includes 1861 1d green mint and used, 6d rose used, 1863 wmk sample (marginal for 2 x 4 stamps), 1864 1d green mint pair and used pair, 1d green used strip of 3 and 1d yellowish green used strip of 3, 6d orange red used strip of 3, various pairs and 6d shades 1875 1s deep mauve (3, one on large piece), 1878 1d and 6d used, 1881 ½d deep mauve superb mint block of 4, mint block of 9 showing large printing flaw, proof strike of a Jeffryes Forgery in orange, 1881 wmk Broad Star 2½d and 4d used, wmk large Star ½d pale and deep mauve shades, 1883 1d orange ovptd Postage, with unlisted "One Peeny", and bisected half of 1d orange ovptd, 1886 1d on 1s orange, 1888 4d on 2s orange mint, 1s on 2s orange used, etc. Very fine and fresh , lovely group.
