1864 - 1907 BEAUTIFUL STAMPED COVERS EXHIBITION COLLECTION. "Netherlands 19th Century Postal Rates for Adhesive Stamps" exhibition collection of mail bearing stamps to overseas destinations, informatively displayed on 48 pages (the page styling is a little old- fashioned so would benefit from contemporary improvement) with attractive covers to Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Austro- Hungarian empire and the USA showing a delightful range of rates (nicely explained) and frankings from the first imperfs 15c orange plus several lovely covers bearing the 1864 first perforated issues including 5c blues x3 examples to Ireland, 15c oranges on 2 covers to Belfast, 5c + 10c franking to London, 10c + 10c franking to Germany, etc; 1867-69 issue with values to the 25c purple (creased) on cvr to the USA plus so much else with many striking frankings such as the 1891 50c yellow- browns as part of 2 & 3- colour frankings, registered mail, advertising covers, items from a 13- stamp franking down to a simple 2½c Printed Matter rate to California etc, etc. A collection of clean attractive covers with appealing frankings, all well written- up and interesting.
