1942. Censored Japanese Military Post card from Thailand to Japan from: 'Maisaichi Kanemaru. lmai Unit Oka 5805 Unit. Southern Dispatch' to·'Kintaro lshigaya, Numapani Chiyadacho, Shizuoka-City, Shizuoka-Prefecture'. Military Postcard, censored by 'Nitta'. The ‘Southern Dispatch' was used until summer of 1942 for use in S.E. Asia. "Oka” meant 7th Area Army for S.E. Asia; '5805 Unit' meant Railway 9th Regiment which served for Thai-Burma Railway from June 1942 to Nov. 1943. (This postcard was written in Thailand in summer 1942 and the letter reads: “I'm sorry for not writing you so long ...I'm also serving like you. Don't mind me please! lt will be 100 degrees on the day. The place where we are working is paradise in cold. There are many crops. I didn't take a bath at former places. I took a bath in drum can. Though the town is small, there are equipments for light etc. to flee from enemies burning operation.'')

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
