1864-65 Two letters to Mauritius, with 1) 1864 letter (parts of back and inside missing) from Bombay franked QV 4a. black and 1a. brown pair and single all tied by "BOMBAY INDIA PAID/OC 12/64"-"1" duplex, endorsed 'Per Steamer Singapore" in m/s, blue handstamp "6d/TO PAY" on front, red Mauritius arrival cds on the reverse, and 2) 1865 entire letter from Calcutta via Aden, franked 4a. greyish black tied by blue numeral "B/1", boxed "INDIA PAID" and blue handstamp "6d/TO PAY" alongside, despatch and arrival cds on the reverse.

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
