1902 (25 Mar) envelope registered from Manchester to France bearing the QV 1s green and carmine "Jubilee" (SG 214) & KEVII 2½d ultramarines (4) making a 1s10d rate, all tied reg. oval datestamps. The KEVII 1s value had only been issued the day before, replacing this short- lived QV 1s of which only 80 are currently known on cover. This transition date QV / KEVII franking is particularly interesting. Some staining and peripheral creasing not overly significant.
