1840-1851 IMPERF LINE ENGRAVED COLLECTION presented in mounts on sleeved album pages. Includes an 1840 1d intense black plate 1a with four clear margins and red Maltese cross cancellation, an 1840 2d blue (SG 5) just touching at lower right corner with light, red Maltese Cross cancel, extensive 1841 penny red selection (most with 4 margins) includes London District cancelled, Maltese Cross cancelled, "Brampton" & a "Halifax" dated "on piece" items, over twenty stamps with blue cancels (inc a pair with 377 - Portarlington Irish blue diamonds), an attractive horizontal strip of 4 with multiple "75 - Birmingham" numeral cancels & a horizontal strip of 6 (indistinct cancels) plus 1841-51 2d blues x6.
