WALVIS BAY 1908 (10 Apr) crested envelope with full letter contents to England bearing Cape of Good Hope 1d tied by "WALFISH BAY" cds cancel, four sides of letter contents by a crew member on "HMS Hermes" printed stationery writing about having arrived from St Helena and describing Walvis Bay as a "dreary, sandy tract", with Southampton transit and Portsmouth arrival on the back.
