1916: Express stamp 5 P. red orange / black with black overprint "SPECIAL DELIVERY", double overprint, of whichone is upside down, with right margin of sheet, together with 1 P. Red Cross, each in perfect condition, on official letter "On His Majesty's Service" with backside printed seal "COLONY OF BAHAMAS". The stamps on the local letter are clear tied by cds "NASSAU 28 / MAY / 17". Despite vertical crease in handling a very fine example. Signed Diena, certificate David Brandon. ÷ Eilmarke 5 P. rotorange/schwarz mit schwarzem Aufdruck "SPECIAL DELIVERY", Doppelaufdruck, davon der untere kopfstehend, mit rechtem Bogenrand, und 1 P. Rotes Kreuz, jeweils in einwandfreier Erhaltung, auf Dienstbrief "On His Majesty's Service" mit rückseitigem gedruckten Siegel "COLONY OF BAHAMAS". Die Marken auf dem Ortsbrief sind klar mit K1 "NASSAU 28/MAY/17", entwertet. Trotz senkrechtem Bug im Umschlag ein sehr schöner Beleg. Altsignatur Diena, Fotoattest David Brandon. In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
