1900. Jahrhundert-PK 5 Pf Reichspost mit Zfr. 25 Pf Krone/Adler als Reco-Karte von "Tanga 24/3 00" nach Leipzig. FA Steuer BPP (1994): "Die Einschreibkarte hat den zugehörigen R-Zettel No. 458 und ist durch Zufrankatur der MiNr. V49b mit 30 Pfg. frankiert. Die mehrfachen Abschläge des Poststempels TANGA zeigen alle Merkmale einer echten und zeitgerechten Verwendung. Die Karte zeigt keinen Ankunftsstempel, ist jedoch meiner Meinung nach korrekt gelaufen. Eine zuerst irrtümlich vorgesehene Nachtaxierung in Leipzig wurde wieder annuliert. Die 25 Pfg.-Marke ist gut gezähnt und qualitativ einwandfrei, jedoch - wie die ganze Vorlage - leicht getönt".

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
