1945. Registered envelope addressed to Switzerland bearing Japanese Occupation of China SG 53, $1 on 8c olive (block of four) and SG 59, $3 on 8c olive (block of four) tied by Shanghai date stamp with registered label, endorsed 'via USSR/Turkey with 'Opened by Examiner/KK 25391' censor label tied by 'Crown/Passed/by Censor/KK5' hand-stamp with Basel arrival. Very fine item with Palestine censor.
This Lot is under the margin tax system (§25a UStG). The VAT (MWSt) is not displayed seperate on the bill.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
