1902, coiling dragon 1 C. (2) tied "SHANGHAI 2 SEP 02" to reverse of red band cover to I.M.C. staff at Tsingtau with blue letter box marking "(Shanghai 6) Chaoyitah" alongside (Chang 1996 p. 167 fig. 16-4-12) w. arrival (ties) "TSINGTAU 5 9 02". Marked bold "T" on front w. on reverse blue crayon "4 ctms". - Bottom copy of 1 C. with top right corner missing applied as evidenced by overstruck Shanghai dater, but not accepted for postage and treated underpaid.
Value Add Taxes (19%) will be added to the hammer price and the buyers premium.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
