1944, three Armed Forces Air Letters all with red boxed 'POSTAGE FREE' and two-line 'CHRISTMAS ISSUE 1944' on front incl. different shades of blue paper all commercially used incl. unusual postmarks, censor markings, one with provisional hollowed triangle on front etc., minor blemishes but mostly unusually fine, attractive and scarce trio!
For this lot an additional 7% for Import Expenses (Taxes) will be charged. This Lot is under the margin tax system (§25a USTG). The VAT (MWSt) is not displayed seperate on the bill.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
