Canada #74, 77, 81 Cvr Three Interesting Numeral Issue Cover Uses, including ½c Numeral, paying the unofficial ½c printed matter postcard rate, tied to addressed side of a 1904 view card going to France (most of these uses have the stamp on picture side) which has a CV of $300 as a single use; a 2c Numeral tied by Montreal OCT.12.1899 flag cancel on cover to Newfoundland, an unassuming but rather scarce Numeral destination, with a Monday OCT.16.1899 backstamp receiver (enclosed family correspondence refers to Canadian mail arriving at St. John's on Thursdays - was this carried directly by ship from Montreal?); and a 7c Numeral (CV $110 for single use) on a registered cover to the U.S.A. with a pen cancel in same colour ink as one of the registration numbers, but with no dispatching office dater, unless it was received by the Sherbrooke and Levis RPO as per the MAR.24.1903 RPO backstamp. Some small faults but unusual Numeral uses. Est C$ 150.00
