Double Weight Cover to Scotland, mourning cover franked with 1c (two pairs) and 3c (2 singles), perforated 11½x12, tied by duplex cancels, paying the 10c double weight pre-U.P.U. preferred rate. Mailed at Québec AUG.10.1877 to Glasgow, Scotland (AUG.23). Faults, including missing backflap, edge wear, small tears and ageing, still a scarce franking for this rate. Est C$ 150.00
