A mint & chiefly used olde tyme collection of stamps still on the original (if somewhat carelessly removed from the binder) album pages, this being the larger part of an old semi- specialized collection 1860 imperf 1d carmine- roses (2, incl 4 margin) & 6d green, perf 1d, 2d & 6d greens (6); 1860-61 clean-cut perf 14-16 set complete, perf 14 complete & rough perf complete all with many additional stamps displaying different shades & postmarks SG 7 - 20 (note SG 8 unused, toned); 1862-67 thick paper rough perf 13 excellent array including a rare 1s grey block of four (46 stamps), rough perf 12½x13 complete with many different shades, clean-cut perf 13 2d & 6d values etc SG 21-42; 1864-65 perf 13 all values to the 'Registered' 6d orange- yellows (5, incl 1 unused), perf 12½x13 1d's (2) SG 44-50; 1866 (Jan) 1d & 2d ranges (14 stamps) SG 51/52; 1866-67 1st & 2nd transfer 4d lilacs (13, incl toned mint) & 5s roses (5, incl "Specimen" opt) SG 53-58s; 1868-74 wmk small truncated star perf 13 strong range of all values incl some interesting cancellations & "Specimen" opts, perf 12 range to 6d (2) & 1s, perf 13x12 2d SG 59-81; 1868-78 perf 13 all values incl many additional shades SG 83-93, perf 12 excellent collection with values to the 1s mauves / purples (9 unused & 2 used) SG 94-109, also perf 13x12 1d (2, both shades) & 6d SG 110-113; Condition is mixed as normal including very fine examples, we see pairs, interesting postmarks, some "Specimen" overprints, some great shades plus much else.
