QUEENSLAND 1897-1908 COLLECTION - chiefly used, presented in issue order with a good range of basic stamps plus additional shades or dies throughout. Begins with 1860 2d blue imperf (thinned) and what appears to 6d imperf, though this has wmk Small Star (and therefore not counted!), continues 1860-1 values to 1s plus "REGISTERED" 6d stamps, 1862-7 all values to 1s, 1864-5 perf 1d, 2d & Registered stamp, 1866 with large wmk in script capitals 1d & 2d values, 1866-7 4d both transfer types, 1868-74 various different shades to 6d, 1868-78 perf.13 & perf.12 most listed shades to 1s, 1880 2s pale blue & deep blue shades (both apparently unused), 1879-81 wmk Crown & "Q" (SG type W5) 1d, 2d & 4d, later type of wmk Crown & "Q" to 1s with shades, 1882-95 high values to £1 unused and used (obvious fiscals not counted), 1882-91 to 1s plus shades. 1890 to 2s plus shades and odd mint stamp, 1895-6 to 5d plus shades and several ½d mint incl. no wmk with burele band, 1897-1908 basic set to 2s incl. a few mint, 1906-10 9d various types or perfs, 1907-11 basic set plus shades, Postal Fiscals to 2s (though most actually used fiscally and not counted), 1878-9 1d violet with wmk mint.
