1878 'C.M. de Alvear' 25c. lake, used on 'Rivadavia' postal stationery envelope 8c. in 1886, uprated also by 4c., 2c. and 1c. adhesives, used REGISTERED from Buenos Aires to Germany via Genoa, Italy, addressed to the Prussian court book dealer G. Trübe in Brandenburg, all stamps cancelled by framed Buenos Aires '17 FEB 86' reg. datestamp, Reg. h/s in violet alongside, Genoa transit and Brandenburg arrival datestamps on the reverse, fine. A VERY RARE USE OF THE 25c. ON COVER - only 5 covers franked by the 25c. are recorded, and this one is THE ONLY USE OF THE 25c. ON A POSTAL STATIONERY ENVELOPE. ÷ 1878 25c. rosa carminen entero postal, conjuntamente con 3 sellos adicionales de 1, 2 y 4 centavos para completar el porteo certificado. Circulado de Buenos Aires, el 17 de febrero 1886, a Brandenburgo, Alemania. ESTA ES LA ÚNICA PIEZA CONOCIDA DEL SELLO USADO EN ENTERO POSTAL.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
