1876 5c. vermilion, ROULETTED, VERTICAL STRIP OF THREE used on cover from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, tied by fine strikes of "BUENOS AIRES O.M./AGO/15/1876" cds, marked in Brazil with "200" (Reis) in blue m/s, Rio '21 AGT 76' arrival cds on the reverse. The strip of three fresh and fine, with part of marginal inscription 'Compañia Americana de Bilettes de Franco Nueva York' on top, cover with minor imperfections, fine. THE LARGEST RECORDED MULTIPLE OF THE 5c. ROULETTED ON COVER. ÷ 1876 5c. bermellón, cortado en lineas, TIRA DE TRES, en sobre cubierta de Buenos Aires, con fechador O.M. del 15 de agosto de 1876, circulada a Río de Janeiro con tasa manuscrita "200" en azul. MAYOR MÚLTIPLO CONOCIDO EN CARTA.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
