Kromolitografált díszcímlappal és 6 részcímlappal, valamint keretdíszes oldalakkal. Kiadói dúsan aranyozott, festett egészpergamen díszkötésben,(Leipzig, Hübel & Denck-kötés), festett lapélekkel, kissé foltos gerinccel, a borító hátoldalán kopásnyommal. Friedrich von Bodenstedt (1819-1892) német író, költő 1843-ban Tifliszbe ment, ahol nem csak tanított, hanem kaukázusi is nyelveket tanulmányozta. Itt ismerkedett meg Mirza Schaffy Wazeh (1796-1852) azerbajdzsáni költővel 1844-ben. Ennek nyomán jelent meg a 'Lieder des Mirza-Schaffy' 1851-ben, majd Aus dem Nachlass des Mirza-Schaffy 1874-ben.
