Grâce à l’initiative de la Société d’Ethnographie Nationale et d’Art Populaire se tint à St. Jean-de-Luz en 1897, un congrès relatif aux traditions basques.
Deux ans après (1899) sortait un ouvrage soigneusement illustré : La Tradition au Pays Basque. Il comportait le compte rendu de cette grande semaine…

Le but de cette réédition par les éditions ELKAR est d’avoir voulu sauver des textes importants que l’on risquait d’oublier.

Livre, intérieur en très bon état avec de légères traces d’humidité dans le bas des 12 premières pages.
