It conveys Chinese people´s wishes and ideals for good fortune and prosperity during the year to come by means of the name, the homonym, and the auspicious association or implication of an object described. The four Nienhwas taken as the motifs of this set of stamps are Peace in the Wake of Firecrackers, Good Fortune and Satisfaction,The Five Blessings upon the House, and An Abundance for Every Year.
