Nach Aussage der Großmutter wurde die Tasse um 1955 gekauft, die Fabrik in Mürzzuschlag bestand ab 1911 und wurde 1975 geschlossen, produziert wurde in kleinen Stückzahlen – deshalb sind Mürztaler Keramik relativ selten und nicht gerade preiswert. Es gibt eine häufigere Bodenmarke VK mit Text Mürztaler und die seltenere Bodenmarke nur VK, die Tasse wurde nie benutzt – stand immer in einer Vitrine. Einwandfrei – innen ist ein winziger Haarriss von ca. 3 cm – siehe Bild - wahrscheinlich herstellungsbedingt, auf jeden Fall ist es kein Sprung da von außen absolut nichts zu sehen ist.
