Item description:

Die-cut Calendar with Photograph,1924. Original photograph of mother and child is slipped in back of the die-cut frame. On the backing sheet is the instruction: "Place your Kodak picture here." Apparently this was produced by the Kodak company. The photo itself measures 4-3/8 by 2-1/2 inches. The calendar measures 5-1/4 by 7-1/8 inches overall. The little flap with the greeting, "Happy New Year. May it hold three hundred and sixty-five bright days for you." lifts up to reveal a little calendar for 1924, stitched to the backing. Each page has 1 month. There´s a loop of silk ribbon at the top for hanging. The outer edge of the calendar is yellowed and lightly soiled on the right edge.
