I have been given a box full of stamps. There is a lot of different varieties in there. My question is, how do I tell if any of these are of any value, I would not want to throw them away, could you recommend a website for me to look at or books from anywhere, eg. Library.
Thankyou for reading. Chris.

hi chris,
as you live in england, i would advise you to use your library system to find catalogs to use to value your stamps. i believe you have an excellent library system there. you also have the online stanley gibbons catalog which is free. however, there are no images. here is the link to it:

Thankyou I will have a look at your link, I do think I would be better with pictures though. I have ordered some books via our library so they may help.
Thankyou again.
Chris.
