# 384/окр. 100th Birth Anniversary of V. Bobrov (1922–1979), football player, hockey player, Honored coach of the USSR

Vsevolod Bobrov (1922-1979) was a Soviet captain of football and hockey teams, awarded with the Order of Lenin. In championships of the USSR from 1947 to 1957, he played for the CDKA, in 1950-1953, for the Air Force of the Ministry of Defense, and in the first two seasons, he was simultaneously a playing coach. He was the only athlete in history who played in both Summer (1952) and Winter (1956) Olympics, where he played 130 games and delivered 254 pucks as a captain of the team. Besides, he played 25 games at the World Championships, European Championships and the Olympics, having scored 34 goals. In 1956, Vsevolod Bobrov was the captain of the Olympic hockey team, which won gold medals.

The commemorative stamp features a portrait of Vsevolod Bobrov; the main image features an illustration for the World and European Championship in Stockholm in 1954.

Всеволод Михайлович Бобров (1922–1979) — советский капитан футбольной и хоккейной команд, награждён орденом Ленина. В чемпионатах СССР с 1947 по 1957 год выступал за ЦДКА, в 1950–1953 гг. за ВВС МВО, причём в двух первых сезонах был одновременно играющим тренером. Единственный в истории спортсмен, выступавший и на летних (1952), и на зимних (1956) Олимпийских играх, где провёл 130 матчей и забросил 254 шайбы в качестве капитана сборной. На чемпионатах мира, Европы и Олимпийских играх провёл 25 матчей, забросил 34 шайбы. В 1956 году В.М. Бобров был капитаном олимпийской сборной команды страны по хоккею, выигравшей золотые медали.

На оригинальной марке изображён портрет В.М. Боброва; на основном изображении — иллюстрация к Чемпионату мира и Европы в Стокгольме, 1954 г.
