TASMANIA 1870 - 1896 SIDEFACES the wonderful balance of an olde- tyme specialised collection of both mint & used stamps begins with the 1870-71 numeral wmks with several 1d & 10d imperf singles, values to 10d m & u; 1871-78 perf 11½ vals to 5s incl 1d mint block 4, 1d used pair - one with "Wedge" flaw, various attractive mint values to 3d (2) & 4d (3, 1 no gum) also much used including some fabulous 'on piece' frankings, perf 12 range includes 1d rose used with "Wedge" flaw SG 150b; 1878 mint values, and onwards incl 1889 ½d on 1d used pair, 1891 2½d on 9d both types in mint blocks - plus much else.
