EDICIONES M. ARRIBAS, WAS CREATED BY MANUEL ARRIBAS ANDRES IN THE YEAR 1905, IN ZARAGOZA. THE COMPANY WAS LATER DIRECTED BY HIS SON, MARIANO ARRIBAS FUENTES AND FINALLY UNTIL ITS SALE, BY HIS GRANDSON, JOSE LUIS ARRIBAS CALLIZO. FROM 1905 TO 1914 THEY MADE NUMEROUS VIEWS IN BLACK PHOTOTYPE ON SATIN PAPER. DURING THE PERIOD FROM 1940 TO 1960, THEY TOOK MOST OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS IN BLACK AND WHITE FOR GRAPHIC WORKS OF VIEWS OF THE DIFFERENT CITIES. LATERNLY, MANY OF THEM WERE COLORED, COMING TO PRINT POSTCARDS IN SEPIA OR GREEN. THEY USED NUMEROUS DENOMINATIONS ON THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE POSTCARDS OVER TIME, M. ARRIBAS - ZARAGOZA; EDICIONES ARRIBAS; COLECCION M.A. OR CLICHE M. ARRIBAS, DEPENDING ON THE PERIOD. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THEY MADE SOME 12.100 POSTCARDS THROUGHOUT THEIR HISTORY.
