- Loro, de son vrai nom Jean-Marc Laureau, est un dessinateur et scénariste de bandes dessinées, également photographe et illustrateur, principalement connu pour sa collaboration à l'hebdomadaire Pilote. Il a également été entraîneur de la sélection de tir à l'arc de l'Arabie saoudite. Il est né le 6 janvier 1943 et est mort le 3 juillet 1998 des suites d'une hépatite C. Il est le créateur du privé Abel Dopeulapeul. Les Éditions Bédésup ont publié un recueil de ses dessins de presse sous le titre J'aime beaucoup ce que vous faites. Collaborateur du décadaire Le Libre Journal de la France Courtoise, il y dessina chaque décade les aventures des chiens Tequici et Caramel commentant l'actualité, Tequici étant son chien et Caramel celui de Serge de Beketch.
