1901 - 1908 PENNY 'UNIVERSALS' SPECIALISED COLLECTION of chiefly very fine mint & used stamps expertly annotated and identified on 19 album pages, includes (all mint unless otherwise stated) many notable items including a good number of the different mixed perfs such as 1902 1d deep carmine SG 307b, many more 'difficult to find' items including (not a comprehensive list!) the 1901 on Basted Mills perf 11 SG 286, perf 14x11 with inverted watermark CP G5a(W), 1902 on hard Cowan perf 14x11 and perf 11x14 SG 297/297a, 1902 on thin, hard Cowan complete booklet pane, 1906 Waterlow trial printing two blocks of four with 'W1' and 'W2' plate numbers in the margin CP G9a(4), Royal plates incl imperf between vertical pair SG 356a,Â 1906 printed from Waterlow plates perf 11, perf 11x14, perf 14x11 SG 357,358, 358a, 1905-06 penny-in-the-slot SG 361, 365, etc, unusual items such as 1901 first day of issue cancellation, a Waterlow sample stamp in blue also seen amongst additional blocks and other items. Chiefly very fine and fresh condition (approx 120 items)
