1868: Tampico District 12c, imperforate (Scott 59) used on 1871 entire letter from Tampico to Vera Cruz tied by oval framed "FRANCO EN / TAMPICO" handstamp in black. Transferred to British P.O. with superb "TAMPICO" double arc cds (AU 27) and prepaid with Great Britain 1865/67 4 d. vermilion pl. 12 tied by clear "C63" obliterator. A rare combination cover with the 1868 issue.
