1. Bian Que:the earliest known Chinese physician.
According to the legend recorded in Records of the Grand Historian, he got clairvoyance ability from a deity when he was working as a noble hostel staff. He thus became an excellent diagnostician with his X-ray-like ability. He also excelled in pulse taking and acupuncture therapy. He is ascribed the authorship of Bian Que Neijing (Internal Classic of Bian Que). Han Dynasty physicians claimed to have studied his works, which have since been lost.
According to legend, he was a doctor who performed a dual-heart transplant on warriors Gong Hu and Qi Ying.
2.Liu Hui:was a Chinese mathematician who lived in the Wei Kingdom.
In 263 he edited and published a book with solutions to mathematical problems presented in the famous Chinese book of mathematics known as The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art.
3.Su Song:was a renowned Chinese statesman, astronomer, cartographer, horologist, pharmacologist, mineralogist, zoologist, botanist, mechanical and architectural engineer, and ambassador of the Song Dynasty (960–1279 AD).
Su Song was the engineer of a water-driven astronomical clock tower in medieval Kaifeng, which employed the use of an early escapement mechanism; the verge escapement was not known in Europe until 1275 AD.
4.Song Yingxing:was a Chinese scientist and encyclopedist who lived during the late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). He was the author of an encyclopedia that covered a wide variety of technical subjects, including the use of gunpowder weapons.
