Jorge Enrique Jiménez Martínez (Heredia, 4 ottobre 1954), è uno scultore e architetto di origine costaricana, meglio conosciuto come Jorge Jiménez Deredia.

Dopo aver iniziato la sua carriera nel suo paese natale, Deredia si è trasferito in Italia nel 1976, paese dove ha sviluppato gran parte del suo lavoro ricevendo riconoscimenti internazionali e privilegi unici, forse il più importante è stato il primo scultore latinoamericano a collocare un'opera in San Pietro Basilica nella Città del Vaticano, ed essendo il primo artista contemporaneo ad esporre le sue opere nel Foro Romano, tra gli altri luoghi della capitale italiana.
